Bicycling magazine says that, once again, Portland is America’s best bicycling city. We’ve got so much going on that their article doesn’t even mention the Bicycle Transportation Alliance — a sign of our success.
It’s often a challenge for me, much less the national media, to keep up with all the great rides, projects, publications, businesses, and people involved in biking in Portland — and the BTA is a statewide organization (actually, we serve Oregon and Southwest Washington). Happily, the article mentioned some of our other stars such as Shift, and Jonathan Maus, and it did reference the Netherlands trip.
