The folks at the Pine Film Festival are encouraging BTA folks to attend this Friday’s film night by giving members a $2 discount — so tickets run $6, instead of the regular $8.
What’s showing on Bike and Adventure Night? Joyride (5 min), Amsterdam: Bicycle Capitol of Europe (7 min), Travels by Tricycle (41 min), a film of a 74 year old Wang Yimin who cycles his 98 year old mother across China on a custom built tricycle so that she may see the country before she dies, and Alone Across Australia (52 min), a self-shot film of Jon Muir’s attempt to walk across Australia (2500 km) with his dog Seraphim.
