It’s spring, and the bikers are happy.
On Sunday, our Development Director Kristie Perry bought a new bike (a teal Townie, which she can’t stop raving about!)
On Monday, I ran into my first bike congestion on the Broadway Bridge, where more than a dozen cyclists were working around each other and sharing the space. Smiles abound.
Last night, I had a warm evening ride home with Jonathan Maus of bikeportland.org.

This morning, I got an e-mail about an terriffic new piece on Bike TV about Breakfast on the Bridges that made me amazingly happy to live in a bike-friendly city, and to have the job I have. Thanks, BikeTV, for the smiles!
The friendly, sunny piece stars Ken Southerland of Shift to Bikes, Maus, and other wonderful people I don’t know the names of. Bonus points if you can tell me the shirt color of the BTA-shirt wearing commuter.
Enjoy the weather — get out and bike!
