As you’ve hopefully heard, ODOT has dropped their attempt at banning bicyclists from many Metro-area freeways. Thanks to all of you who joined us in opposing the proposed ban, and making your voices heard!
While these aren’t the most-used facilities, limiting our choices wasn’t a good idea, and we’re thriled ODOT listened to the public and the BTA and dropped the idea. Thanks, ODOT! And thanks to the Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, which heard the proposal and asked tough questions about it.
