Our friends in Chicago are sick of traffic deaths. Instead of a more traditional “share the road” campaign, they’ve created a fake business — Bob Fuller’s Roadside Memorials — along with a television ad.
The ad simulates a traffic crash, and then the salesperson, Bob Fuller, offers to sell people a “roadside memorial” (free delivery with the second order). The end of the ad brings the seriousness; it says “stop the spread of memorials” and directs people to a website.
I’ve made inquiries to see if the TV ad is actually going on television, or is an internet-only phenomenon.
