All BTA members are invited to the BTA Annual Meeting from 7-9 pm on Monday, Dec. 4th, at Woodstock Wine & Deli, where we’ll celebrate another great year of bike progress, honor BTA volunteers, and hobnob with other bicyclists and tranportation types.
We’ll be giving our High Gear Awards to volunteers who have committed exceptional energy and time to the BTA this year – they will include Eric Lundgren, Maija Spencer, Stephen Frenkel, Lee Hoffman and our new staff member (who was once a volunteer) Tom Rousculp.
Portland City Commissioner Randy Leonard, who is himself a bike commuter (and rather modest about it), will be speaking, as will BTA Board Chair Hugh Bynum and Exec. Director Evan Manvel.
The regular December board meeting will be held from 6-7 pm, with the Annual Meeting festivities to follow from 7-9 pm, at Woodstock Wine & Deli at 4030 SE Woodstock. Hosted snacks, no-host bar and restaurant. Woodstock has a great selection of local beers and wines – bring your trailer and stock up for the winter!
