Metro recently held a 45-day public comment period on their Transportation Priorities process, also known as MTIP. The BTA worked with cyclists region wide to comment positively on these projects, and again, bicyclists commented more than any other transportation group.
The proejcts recieiving the most comments were trail and bicycle projects: The Fanno Creek Trail: Hall Blvd. Crossing Study recieved 86 positive comments and The Sullivan’s Gulch Trail received 66 positive comments, the two top comment recipients. The Willamette Greenway received 43 positive comments, Milwaukie to Lake Oswego Trail 40 comments, and the two Bicycle Boulevard projects, the 50’s and 70’s received 34 and 32 comments respectfully.
