Glacier National Park! That is where I grew up! That is part of my inspiration for npGREENWAY! That may seem like a strange statement, but that is the firs place I have fond memories of riding on paved bike paths through the woods and along the river. Ahhh…. good times, good times. The freedom! The Adventure! The trek from Loop B and C of Apgar down past the candy store over to McDonald Creek and down across the ‘highway’ to the Beaver Pond. If we were lucky, we might see some Bald Eagles along the way snacking on Kokanee Salmon.

OK, I’ll leave memory lane now. Just got all kinds of warm fuzzys when I saw Bike Glacier National Park and BTA all in one post on “The Portland Bike Channel”
