For those who haven’t heard, the Community Cycling Center was burglarized the other night. From Remmers, the Executive Director:
We are working to strengthen our security systems: commercial grade safe, lights, alarm system, locking counters, etc.: we could sure use support procuring these things.
So, if you’re an expert in commercial grade safes, let them know. Otherwise, pitch in a bit financially to help them recover. BTA staff members are donating to this fantastic community institution, and the organization is donating a bit of money as well.
BTA,
Thanks so much for your support. It means everything to us right now.
We’ve come a long way to put the place back in order. We cleaned all day Tuesday and volunteers cleaned all night. The place looks great. Next is to repair the damage, replace lost items and then upgrade security. Meanwhile, our shop is open, we’re recycling bikes and teaching low-income youth and adults about bike safety. Onward!
Thanks to everyone who has helped. If you’re looking for a way to support us we could use it. Visit our website at http://www.communitycyclingcenter.org for information.
Thanks,
Alison Hill
