The 2nd annual Oregon Bike Summit is coming up soon, April 13-14th in Sisters, Oregon (Register Here). Last year the Summit brought together advocates, manufacturers, elected officials and interested citizens to exchange ideas on how to make Oregon the #1 state for bicycle tourism.
This year the agenda is expanded, with a Friday night key note from Andy Clarke, leader of the national League of American Bicyclists, and a full day on Saturday that includes urban, rural and off-road cycling issues.
The BTA will be providing an update on the Oregon Legislative session and will provide some insight on other larger state and national campaigns that we are working on.
The Summit will take place at the Five Pine Conference Center in Sisters, Oregon (North of Bend) so come out and bring your bike, we’ll be riding the trails and roads, as well as planning the next steps in making Oregon the premier cycling state in the nation.
Would like to know about registering for this event. Heid Peyton
