Metro Greenspaces Bonds Go $6.4 Million Farther
The BTA worked to help pass Measure 26-80, which will help fund nine key trails projects in the region. News is that the voters will get even more bang for the buck than promised, thanks to a good bond rating which will reduce finance costs on the bond.
Washington Co Agrees to Improve Chip Seal Roads
The County is agreeing to use smaller gravel in new chip seal roads, widen shoulders that cyclists use when converting gravel to chip seal, and maintain roads more often to remove the gravel that appears from chip seal treatment.
