And the Oregonian coverage of conflicts between bicyclists and drivers on rural roads, an issue we’ve addressed both with HB 3314 and our passing distance bill, a version of which, SB 108, is still alive and moving forward. Ironically, the same day, several letters to the editor were published, one that complained about sometimes being delayed up to five minutes by bicycles. It’s unlikely this person has written the same letter about being stuck behind cars.
