In our haste to get our a press release about the all-important SK Northwest decision, I think I undercredited the City of Portland’s great work on the issue.
The Bureau of Development Services, Department of Transportation, City Attorney and Parks Department all leant their expertise in backing up BDS’s argument that the development application should be denied, as well as being responsive to the inquiries of the BTA and others who fought the development.
It’s great to live in a city that has trail requirements, that is willing to defend those requirements, and that has such talented staff. Kudos!
