It’s Chilly…I Wore Clothes

It was a chilly, dry and perfect morning for bicycling. The Broadway Bridge was packed with cyclists all wearing stylish and practical wear. See what Michelle and I wore….

My biggest shift is the addition of accessories, or furnishings if you will. Today it was gloves and a headband. Although generally preferring wool, especially on wet days, today I wore a cotton under-tee and a ribbed heavy zippered sweatshirt. Orange is perfect for cycling. Jeans are nice in Sept.
clothesmichelle.JPGMichelle went for a more layered and open ride, with a silk-tee, two light wool layers and a jean jacket. She also stepped into wool pants and waterproof (stylish) cowboy boots. Michelle went sans gloves and headband but of course wore a helmet.

clothesassory.JPGAs for furnishings, I love leather gloves – if motorcyclists and convertible drivers wear them, so can we – and my red wool headband. My friend Jason brought the leg band from Europe (good only with jeans) and my Smith Sliders are shown.

It was chilly, but I wore a tank top. Keeps me moving faster.
