It’s a true sign of the end of summer: this Tuesday, October 2nd, is the last Bike Master Plan ride, in which cyclists of all kinds join Portland bicycle planner Roger Geller in exploring and evaluating future bike networks.
The City of Portland and the BTA are particularly focused on east-west bike boulevard possibilities in this part of town, which has few low-traffic, quiet routes for bicyclists.
You can do just part of the ride, or all of it. Meet Roger at Terry Schrunk Plaza (SW 3rd and Madison) at 5:15 pm. Bring lights (it’s starting to get dark earlier) and a snack if you want one. The ride will end at Peninsula Park at 8:00 pm.
The last one! Say it isn’t so! Roger Geller looks good riding away;)
