Sustainable Oregon Schools Initiative Speakers Series

Please see the attached flyer and the information below about the Sustainable Oregon Schools Initiative speaker series. I will be presenting at the second one in the series about sustainable ways for children and families to get to school.

The Speaker Series is a three-part series that highlights some concrete ways Oregon’s K-12 schools are reducing their climate impact and moving toward sustainability. Topics to be addressed:

No-Fuel and Low-Fuel School Transportation Options
Wednesday, February 27th, 4:15pm – 5:30pm

Methods for Achieving Energy Efficiency in School Buildings
Tuesday, March 18th, 4:15pm – 5:30pm
Presenter: Dave Cone, Gresham-Barlow School District

Each presentation will be include time for Q + A.
