J. Harry Wray was due into town tonight to read from and sign his new book “Pedal Power: The Quiet Rise of the Bicycle in American Life” at Powell’s. But he’s stuck at an airport in South Carolina and won’t make it on time.
The bike commuting workshop before the signing, however, is still happening. See the Tribune article on the workshop for more details.
The workshop goes from 5:30-6:30 pm, at Powell’s (3732 SE Hawthorne) and will cover basic bikes laws, skills for riding around cars, route-finding and necessary gear.
