Maybe you went to a bike show at the Oregon Convention Center recently…or attended a political rally at the Memorial Coliseum this morning…and maybe you’ve started to think, “I’d ride to Alice, but I bet a) they won’t have enough bike parking, b) the parking won’t be covered, or c) I’ll end up having my lock cut by the OCC.”
Nope. We’ve got you covered.
We are offering full-service indoor valet bike parking at the Alice Awards this year. Just ride into parking area P1 on the south side of the building (facing NE Lloyd Blvd.). There will be signs.
You will NOT need a lock, as the parking area is full service and guests will not be allowed to enter the parking corral to lock their bikes (Skeptical? It’s modeled off of what is probably the most popular valet bike parking system in the US.). Don’t worry about taking off your lights and your panniers and your pump and your toolkit…just hang your helmet on your handlebar and hand your bike over to us. We’ll keep a close eye on it all night.
Don’t plan on taking a post-auction stroll around the Lloyd District (did I just type that?), though. Bike parking is shutting down at 10:30.
