Looking back: Ride of Silence

The Ride of Silence was just what it should be: quiet, touching, safe. img_0383.jpg
Around 75 riders braved the stormy weather for the ride that began downtown and passed the ghost bikes for Tracey Sparling and Brett Jarolimek.

BTA Executive Director, Scott Bricker made a statement before the ride to remember our fallen friends and loved ones and participant Greg Raisman shared his personal story at the end of the ride.

Other than the occasional bell ring or motorcycle engine the ride was silent. Pedestrians and downtown diners came out to watch the solemn procession and local news stations were there to interview riders and report back to viewers.
