Last week in Seattle a cheeky bike-walk-skate-streetcar race got off to a rough start when one of the participants – you guessed it – got his wheel stuck in the tracks and went down.

While the race was meant to poke fun at the streetcar’s slow speed, discussion quickly shifted to the dangers the tracks present to people riding bikes.
