A couple of years ago, Alice made the decision to travel the world in search of inspiring and innovative bike culture to celebrate. In 2007, she visited the great city of Amsterdam. In 2008, she was in Paris.
On her journey, she was interested in discovering the ingenuity of the people and places she visited, but realized that people were just as interested in the biking revolution happening back in her home state.
Alice has become an ambassador for all things bikey in Oregon, a role she is proud to tackle, but she’s thinking that she needs to go back to her roots for a first-hand refresher on why Oregon is so special.
Learning that Oregon will be celebrating its sesquicentennial in 2009 sealed the deal.
