Hi,
I don’t if you would accept a non-organized group as a nominee, but I do think that parents cycling with kids deserve a least an honorable mentioning. In the last year we saw such a rise in family biking and I think that these parents are great ambassadors for biking.
If you do not accept a non-organized group, I would like to nominate the Urban Mamas, a group of activistas that make biking part of their family life.
Brad Ross is the Susan Lucci of this award. I say the ‘cross crusade organizer should win this year. The 2008 races were over the top popular and consistently bring new bike riders into the fold. Race on Sunday, eventually ride to work on weekdays. And wouldn’t cowbells at the Alice Awards be cool?
