This last Saturday a dedicated group of advocates and educators, racers and promoters gathered at the BTA office in Old Town to sort OBRA race numbers, stuff envelopes and catch up a bit. The conversations were lively, bouncing back and forth between favorite training rides, proposed legislation and the Why? and How? we all ended up so interested in bikes and bicycling.
At the end of the day a dozen of us had sorted hundreds of numbers, ate a bunch of pizza, drank a few gallons of coffee and spent some time getting to know cycling again, through someone else’s eye’s.
Thanks to all the volunteers! and keep riding.
