The Eugene Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is announcing their first ever Bicycle and Pedestrian Friendly Business Awards Program. This program is designed to recognize local businesses that support and encourage bicycling and walking for their customers and/or employees. Nominations for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Friendly Business Awards are being accepted now!
To nominate a business, go to www.eugene-or.gov/bpac to fill out a nomination form and return it by May 6, 2009. Eugene’s BPAC will select businesses to be recognized at their regular meeting on May 9, 2009. Selected businesses will be recognized and awarded at the Business Commute Challenge Luncheon on Tuesday, May 19.
