Eco Explorers

Looking for a cool, summer opportunity for a young person you know who’s entering 6th-8th grade?

Check out the new camp being offered through a partnership between the BTA and the Community Cycling Center. The BTA received a grant from the Oregon Community Foundation to pilot a new environmental education summer camp where participants visit sites each day by bike.

This summer’s Eco Explorers will have the opportunity to learn safe biking skills from expert BTA and CCC staff and learn about their environment by visiting sites like Zenger Farm, the St. John’s Landfill, the Johnson Creek Natural Area and more.

Eco Explores is being offered as two different, one-week sessions
July 20-24, 9-3pm Marshall High School (3905 SE 91st Ave)
July 27-31, 9-3pm Faubion School (3039 NE Portland Blvd)

Registration is $250, and scholarships are available.

Also check out the Community Cycling Center’s other awesome summer camp offerings.
