Show your support for the City’s plans to build 15 miles of new bike boulevards. Learn about the existing conditions on SE Center and SW Terwilliger-Westwood and some of the options for making these streets more friendly to families, cyclists and pedestrians.
Southeast Center:
When: Tuesday, July 21st, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Where: Mt. Scott Community Center (Poolside Room), 5530 SE 72nd Avenue, Portland
This route will provide a missing link east-west route as an alternative to major arterials in outer Southeast Portland.
A follow up meeting to present project proposals will be held August 18, again from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Mt. Scott Community Center.
SW Terwilliger-Westwood:
When: Thursday, July 23rd, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Where: Multnomah Arts Center, Room 30, 7688 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland
This route provides connections from Southwest Portland to downtown where bicycle and pedestrian options are currently limited.
A follow up meeting to present project proposals will be held August 20, again from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Multnomah Arts Center.
