That’s right! The second Sunday Parkways is happening again this Sunday, July 19th.
Once again, 7 miles of Portland’s streets will be closed to car traffic in Northeast Portland. Get out your walking shoes, your bicycle, your skateboard, your scooter or your moon boots and join us!
The BTA and Providence Bridge Pedal will be at Fernhill Park continuing their Ready Rider Workshops. The workshops are open to all ages and designed to teach kids how to ride in a group setting. After a few drills at Fernhill Park, we will ride a portion of the Sunday Parkways route. After completing the workshop, the kids will be Rider Ready and know how to safely ride Bridge Pedal – which is free to kids 15 and under this year!
So come on out and experience Portland’s streets car-free. And be sure to say hello and check out the Rider Ready workshops at Fernhill Park
