Bowdoin College student Greg Conyers spent the summer working with Oregon bicycle attorney Ray Thomas to make the Bicyclists’ Rights in Oregon video series, featuring six bicycle laws. According to Greg, the goal for the videos was to help viewers make a connection between what’s written in the books and what actually transpires on the road.
(They also made the more lighthearted “Doored Again” and “Right Hook” videos.)
Here’s the first video, starring Bike Lanes.

Nice video.
Interesting… looks like part of this was filmed from the sky bridge across Broadway at PSU, so the bike lane in the video is gone now (replaced by the cycletrack).
This needs to be used by tri-met, sanitation/recycling/trash companies, and delivery truck companies for training their drivers. Seems like basic common sense information that a whole lot of LARGE VEHICLE drivers are completely unaware of.
