The BTA Board of Directors has initiated the process of selecting the next executive director by organizing a search committee and retaining a professional search firm. Now, the board would like member input on shaping the criteria for the recruitment and selection of the organization’s next leader. You are invited to attend an upcoming meeting to provide feedback that defines the executive director’s role.
Each meeting will include:
- A one-hour session moderated by BTA board member and search committee chair Stephen Gomez. Attendees will include search committee members and Roy Notowitz of the NotoGroup, the search firm that has been selected.
- Sharing of a draft Job Description for member input. Members will also be asked to provide input on the priorities for the first 12-months on the job for the next executive director.

So I can come prepared would like to see job description draft before meeting. Where can I get a copy? Also on priorities for first 12 months, is this more of a “pie in the sky” or are there options available from which to choose. More of a pick from the list those most important to you type of thing. If so help me understand what BTA is seeing as important.
