The threat of freezing rain is enough to keep most folks indoors, but not the superstar volunteers who helped send out this month’s membership renewal reminder letters. 
With a fresh cup of hot apple cider to warm up with, our gang set to the tasks of folding, stuffing, sealing and so forth with their usual good cheer!
Especially appreciated in their attendance were the PSU Cycling Club members who were barely a few hours past their fall term final exams! Way to be dedicated!
After over 600 hundred letters were readied for the mail and the last bagel was devoured around 11:30am the crew went on with the rest of their day. Some went up for a pleasure ride to a coffee shop in NE Portland, while others went on to volunteer with the set up for the CCC’s Holiday Bike Drive!
Of course, you don’t have to wait for a reminder letter to renew your membership. You can always contribute online and this time of year one of the best ways to donate is through the Willamette Week Give Guide, which offers prizes to you and matching money to the BTA!
In the meantime, though, we’ll keep those letters coming!
