The City of Portland is preparing to build new bike boulevards and they want your input.
The Bureau of Transportation is beginning outreach for the next generation of bicycle boulevards to hear feedback and get input from the community on crossing treatments and other improvements to maintain the residential character of these routes.
Join them tomorrow night for a discussion of existing conditions and a presentation about their current concepts for a project on SE Bush Street.
It is important that the city hear from people who understand biking from a first person perspective. These are project design meetings that will help guide the look, feel, and function of the final boulevards. Especially if you live in the neighborhood, please attend an upcoming open house.
