Portland’s favorite meal is breakfast, no question about it. Everyone loves breakfast. Many of us might argue that breakfast is even better when you bike there. Why?
- You beat the crowds looking for parking on a crowded Saturday morning.
- You can justify ordering a 3 egg scramble with cheese, potatoes, and French toast.
- Your body will thank you for the post-breakfast bike ride after a meal like that.
At the 2010 Alice Awards, the BTA is offering Bikers Love Breakfast passports to guests at a fixed price. These custom coupon booklets will invite riders to sample treats from Portland’s most acclaimed breakfast cafes. Each package will include an autographed copy of Paul Gerard’s book, Breakfast in Bridgetown.
We are looking for the best of Portland’s breakfast restaurants to donate between one and four coupons valued at $25 each for these passports. Your donation supports the BTA’s advocacy and education programs and comes with the following benefits:
• Name and/or logo placement in printed auction catalog and on BTA website
• Donate $250 or more: recognition in BTA Annual Report
• Donate $1000 or more: Year-round recognition in BTA e-newsletter
Thanks to the following businesses that have already donated:
Country Cat
Sapphire Hotel
Slappy Cakes
Tasty & Sons
