The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is hosting its Annual Bike to Work Breakfast at Pioneer Courthouse Square in honor of National Bike Month on Tuesday morning, May 11, 2010, from 7:30 to 9:00 AM.
They’ll be serving up free bagels, fruit, donuts, coffee and tea to commuters as a thank you for riding your bicycle (or walking) and helping to make Portland a great place for both.
This would be a great time to stop by and say thank you to the PBOT staff for engineering and building innovative bike infrastructure, designing family-friendly bike boulevards, hosting FIVE Sunday Parkways events, encouraging more kids to walk and bike to school, and for responding quickly when facilities don’t work out.
