Portland’s Grand Central Bakery is the newest Bike Commute Challenge pledge-based supporter, adding to the ranks of returning pledge-based business members Ecos Consulting and SERA Architecture in a trifecta of bike-to-work awesomeness.
Grand Central employees logged over 4,000 miles during the 2011 BTA’s Bike Commute Challenge. At $0.50 a mile, Grand Central employees earned $2,000 for the BTA! Their team had a 21.6% bike commute rate coming in 7th place out of 200 teams in their category.
