3 Ways to Get Kids Excited about Bicycling

As winter wanes, we need your help to support kids who want to get active by walking and bicycling to school. Right now there are three exciting ways to get involved.

1) Ride with kids
We ride with classes of 4th and 5th graders every Friday (sometimes Thursday) in the spring. Choose a shift at the link above. I will send out a reminder the Monday and Thursday before your ride.

2) Fix kids’ bicycles
We fix bikes every third Saturday from 10am-2pm, just click on the link above and select a shift to let me know you’re coming. I will send out a reminder the Thursday before the event.

3) Get schools excited
On March 11th from 12pm-4pm, help assemble packets of information and incentives for schools participating in the Walk+Bike Challenge.

Contact LeeAnne Fergason with questions or for more information.
