I-205 Path near Airport Way, until mid-June (Map)

“From mid-March to mid-June 2013, bicyclists and pedestrians using the I-205 multi-use path will experience occasional delays during the week while the contractor does pile driving and other work using large cranes next to the path. Flaggers will close the trail for up to 20 minutes at a time throughout the day.”

Riverview Cemetery, March 13 & 14
Riverview Cemetery will be closed dusk through dawn on the 13th & 14th during blasting work for the Sellwood Bridge:

“Blasting is scheduled on March 13 and 14 as part of the work to widen Highway 43 for the new bridge interchange. On blast nights, intermittent closures of traffic lanes and the highway and bridge will happen between 7 pm and 5 am. Highway and bridge closures will last from 5 to 20 minutes for each blast. Five minutes and one minute before each blast, a warning siren will sound. The siren will probably be louder than the blast itself. Two or three blasts are scheduled each night between 9 pm and 3 am. Travelers can avoid delays by choosing alternate routes on blast nights.”

NE Cesar Chavez between NE Senate & NE Wasco, March 14 – 18 (Map)

“(PORTLAND, Ore.) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require a lane closure on Northeast Cesar Chavez Boulevard between Northeast Senate Street and Northeast Wasco Street beginning Thursday, March 14, through Monday, March 18, all hours and all days. The public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

The southbound right lane (curb lane) will be closed all hours and all days for this project with the southbound left lane open. Northbound traffic will be unaffected. The lane closure is necessary to remove and replace both the base and the surface layers of an isolated section of the road to stabilize the foundation of the road and prevent potholes and other surface distress.

Local access to residences and businesses will be provided.

This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.”
