Below is a guest post from Dana Voelker, Director of Development at the National MS Society Oregon Chapter.

Ever wanted to explore the scenic Willamette Valley? The 29th annual Bike Multiple Sclerosis (MS) ride on August 2-4 is your perfect weekend getaway.

Meet up Friday night at Western Oregon University for some pre-ride festivities, then wake up early Saturday for the ride of the year. Invite your family and friends to cheer as you cross the finish line at Western Oregon University and enjoy an evening celebration including dinner, music, beer garden, and massage tent.

Offering multiple route options ranging from 33-100 miles on Saturday and 35-50 miles on Sunday, this ride caters to cyclists of all abilities. It’s also fully supported with catered rest stops, bike mechanics, full meals, and support vehicles.

Registration is $55 and covers everything for the weekend except the dorm reservation, which is a nominal fee.

Additionally, each participant is asked to raise $250 to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Oregon Chapter in its efforts to provide financial assistance for more than 7,600 people in Oregon and SW Washington living with MS.

Bike MS will take you further than you’ve ever gone before. So join us this August for excitement, camaraderie, and the satisfaction that you’re bettering lives.
