Sunny days and Kids’ Cross are always a nice combination. At the same time, there is something about overcast skies, a chill in the air, and mud (on the course, on one’s bike, on oneself) that make cyclocross great. Luckily, Kids’ Cross was just that in Washington County the first weekend in November: muddy and perfect.
New faces and Kids’ Cross veterans alike rode the flat, twisty course. A great water feature, compliments of the WD-40 Washing Station, added to the effect.
