Winter Bike Commute Workshop

02 February 2012 | 5:30 pm | Ecotrust, 721 NW 9th Ave, Portland

On Thursday, February 2, Ecotrust and the BTA are teaming to help local riders traverse the Northwest’s wet winters on two (bicycle) wheels. The event is totally and completely free, but advance registration is required.

Description
Don’t let those dark nights and wet roads keep you off your bike this winter! With just a few adjustments and greater awareness, we can remain safe and comfortable during our rainy rides. The Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) will present an all-weather biking workshop covering safety concerns, best gear options and winter-specific maintenance tips. The workshop is suitable for cyclists of all levels. The evening will conclude with a Q & A session, an opportunity to connect with other bike enthusiasts, and light refreshments provided by Ecotrust.
