56th Annual New Years Day Ride Explores Bike Routes, Businesses in Clackamas, Multnomah Counties

56th ANNUAL NEW YEARS DAY RIDE EXPLORES BIKE ROUTES, BUSINESSES

IN CLACKAMAS, MULTNOMAH COUNTIES

This year’s installment of the annual tradition begins in downtown Portland, meanders through Milwaukie, and ends at the newest Bike Gallery location in Clackamas County

 

December 31, 2012 – The Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) will lead the 56th annual New Years Day Ride starting in downtown Portland under the west end of the Morrison Bridge and ending at Bike Gallery’s newest location on 82nd Avenue in Clackamas County.

 

The ride departs downtown Portland shortly after noon, then winds through Milwaukie where people will have an opportunity to explore and discuss the exciting changes happening there. Bike Milwaukie and New Seasons Market will generously provide mid-ride snacks.

 

The ride will continue to the new Bike Gallery location on NE 82nd Avenue in Clackamas County where people will enjoy coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
