Get Involved

The BTA is at work across Oregon, in classrooms, on the streets, and advocating for a safe, accessible mix of transportation in our state.

Walk+Bike to School Challenge

The BTA coordinates two free encouragement events each year: Walk+Bike Day in October and Walk+Bike Challenge Month in May.International Walk+Bike to School Day

Join over 200 schools across the state and thousands across the globe in walking and biking to school on the first Wednesday in October.  Register your school at www.walknbike.org. Participating schools receive a box of incentives and information.

Walk+Bike Challenge

In May challenge families at your school to walk and bike.  Join this friendly competition by registering at www.walknbike.org.  Participating schools receive a packet of incentives and information.
